For several years we've been concentrating on weddings and family events, like communion parties, christening ceremonies, reunions, etc. We love to share your special days, and we're happy to work at your parties so you don't have to!

This year, 3 Chicks has been booking corporate and retail photo events, such as annual reports, executive portraits, store openings, and product images for retail web sites.

3 Chicks shot a wonderful wedding at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank on 9/24. Abbie was a gorgeous, glowing bride and we were honored to share her day.

The wedding was outdoors on a huge deck overlooking the beautiful Navesink River. The Ryan family did a terrific job planning the wedding, and the dancing and positive energy went on all night.

Cristian, the maitre d', was outstanding, and we thank him for his professionalism and kindness to us.

Peter Criss of Kiss, a breast cancer survivor, spoke at the American Cancer Society "Making Strides" Kick Off Breakfast today at the PNC Arts Center, Holmdel, NJ. 3 Chicks That Click has photographed the Making Strides event in Pt. Pleasant for the last several years. Great guest speakers had inspirational stories to tell, and there was a slideshow presentation of the photos we took last year.

Hello everyone! 3 Chicks has been so busy that updating the blog has sadly fallen behind. I’ll try to do better, I promise!

Let’s see – I’ll start with News and Media. 3 Chicks has been featured in several online and print publications, including Bibi Magazine, Affluent Magazine, and Jewish Woman Magazine. You can see the complete list of media here.

It’s always exciting to see our name online and in print. Being a photographer isn’t just about shooting. Running a photography business also involves marketing, advertising, and promotion. Writing articles, newsletters, email blasts (and blogs, I know!). Sometimes I’m so busy shooting that I have to set aside time to write.

This has been our busiest year yet, so writing has taken a back seat. But thanks to Twitter and Facebook, brief updates are still going out. Whew.

Destination Wedding – Florida!

May 30th, 2010 - 3 Chicks photographed a wedding at the beautiful Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, FL. The bride and groom, Randi and Dave, looked magnificent, and showed no effects of the nearly 100 degree heat. They, their family, and bridal party were wonderfully good-natured about posing outside near the fountain in the late afternoon, despite the stifling humidity and occasional bug.

The wedding photo featured halfway down the page was taken on the island of Roatan in Honduras. It was quite a trip. There was a 2 day heavy rainstorm which ended around noon on the day of the wedding. Talk about timing! Let’s just not talk about bugs. Tropical weddings at sunset are beautiful, but don’t forget the bug spray.

As their site explains, this organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries.

Homes for Our Troops is building a home for SGT Mike Minard in Union Beach, NJ and we’ll be documenting the entire process.

Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2004. This organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries.

They assist severely injured Servicemen and Women and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and then coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. The finished home is then given to the veteran.
